Which brings us to the Maoist principle that all art is political. Take those synthesized voices. Aesthetically pleasing? Well, we can’t count the complaints from first worlders and first world apologists that no, those “robot voices” are not an aesthetic attraction, they’re “stupid.” That’s a political stand in the form of an aesthetic judgment. And we don’t mean just the usual brute Goober opportunism of fronting for first world parasitism by attacking the “form” of agitation in the absence of an ability to counter the agitation’s political “content.”

All art is political. The nominal “form” of a work is every bit as political as the nominal “content.” That form has political content. There is a political content to the use of synthesized voices, that use is itself a political line. And the political line upheld by the use of synth voices is quite simple and direct: for serious revolutionaries, there is a need for security.

Serious revolutionaries are Maoists, and genuine Maoists know that the enemy is real. Genuine Maoists also know that, if they are in the first world, they are surrounded by the enemy. Maoists in the first world work behind enemy lines because the entire first world populations are enemy to the world’s oppressed and exploited majority, in whose interest genuine Maoists fight. Security is a political line which benefits the international proletariat. 

So to Maoists those synth voices sound oh so melodiously sweet, because we agree with the political line of championing the victory of the world’s oppressed and exploited majority. Conversely, to the apologists for first world parasitism, the same voices sound “stupid,” because they disagree with the political line of revolution, and instead champion the continued parasitism of the first world. Unlike the Maoists, these Goobers have absolutely no use for security because they are behind the friendly lines of their first world good buddies. For these first world apologists the synth voices are every bit as “stupid” as the notion of Third World victory itself.
